While writing my dissertation, I will be extensively looking on the computer screen. The monitor of 15.6" Fujitsu A544, which I currently work with, does not seem to be enough wide. Some possible options are being listed in this post along with their size, response delay, resolution, and comments in this post. These monitors are majorly those which I am occasionally working on at the university.
Option 1: AOC 917SW+ 19" LCD 5ms
I saw this one at the circulation desk of Information Center. It uses LCD technology rather than LED. So, I need to learn what is the difference between these two technologies and which one is better for eyes.
Option 2: Philips 223V LCD
While writing a paper in the search desks at IC, I used this monitor as the extension of my desktop. It was good, and I liked it.
