Let's hope

After a miserable daşma rice that I cooked a couple of weeks ago, I decided never but never do anything that I do not know. I was really upset. Only one week later, I tried to cook rice in another way (süzme). And guess what? A new baş I produced too - for the first time in my life. You hope it was good. Ohhhhh... It was excellent. I had never cooked any food that delicious. I did know the latter way of cooking for a long time but I had never tried it unless the real failure with the first way. I conclude that I will always do a better job even after a fail - like the rice I created. I will do a better job even if I fail the Ph.D. exactly like Leon Lederman did after he barely passed the Written QE.

Turkey is not the place to stay too

I am going to be expelled from my Ph.D. program because a new regulation which set after me interestingly affects me. I was gradually believing that I might stay in Turkey for rest of my life, but this assured me it is not a good place to live. When I came here I was running from the same things in my own country. Unfortunately, every thing is the same here but a slight difference. I left my hometown, family, beliefs and so on for what. I have to go out from this country. It is not a place to live because of the governmental management system rather than my beloved university.

"Qorqud" was a common name

There is a debate on the name of Dede Qorqud among historians and linguistics. Historians believe that the name is an special name for a certain person who wrote the Bayat tribe's mythical stories. However, linguistically, dede is just a modifier for qorqud. i.e.: qorqud was a common name and just one of those people who had this name had been identified by dede. The same process works in the combinations such as Shah Ismail, Sultan Selim, or in the everyday language Kanim Solmaz. However, qorqud is not yet a common name neither in Azerbaijan nor in Turkey (the popularity of the name is a place of study in the communities that locate to the west of Caspian Lake). Today, I learned that there was an Ottoman prince with the same name: Şehzade Korkut (wiki). This may be considered as a fact on the popularity of this in the late ancient Turkish proper names.

What does mean "olagh" (FA)?

ulaq - اولاغ
When I was in the primary school I taught in the history course: "there were çapar persons who brought letters from the Achaemenid emperors to the various regional governors in all over the empire territory."

There are two notes here:

• ulaq and çapar do the same job (wiki). Moreover, the Farsi word for donkey, olagh, stems from ulaq in Turki because donkeys (instead of horses) were used to perform the telecommunications probably to keep the the job secret.
• The official presence of Turks in ME is known and tough to start on 11th century (1500 after Achaemenids). There is an apparent inconsistency in our History course fiction: presence of an official job called with a Turki word 1500 years before Turks came to ME.

Vocal Improvement

Today, I decided to improve in my vocal performance because I felt its necessary for my personal life and career in the academia. I realized that there should be extensive practices as well as artistic performances in order to get succeeded in the task. Therefore, I will be designing a practice outlook aiming the improvement in the vocal performance.

I read that we had some problems with Euclidean geometry. I was also searching about the elements of a scientific theory. Thus, I decided to study about the Euclidean Geometry, identify the scientific elements in that theory, and know what is the shortcomings with it which lead the non-Euclidean geometry to establish.
