Targeted Universities for Postdoctoral Studies

Since I have not yet a good brand, I have to look for well-known universities while trying to find the best-fit research group for my research topic. The following list contains a bunch of top schools I am trying to get into. I have to look for the schools located in North America and Europe to have a reasonable and safe number of choices, so I'll skip those schools which are in other parts of the world.

Languages I need to learn

At the moment, I know Turki, Farsi, Arabic, English, and Latin. For my professional life and my interests in science, I need to learn a few languages more. Among them are Greek, German, Russian, and French.
It usually takes one term to progress one step. The following is the time calculation for learning German based on the Gotte Institute information. Supposing that I want to cover A and B levels, it will take totally 18 months or 1.5 year: A1.1 (2 months), A1.2 (2 months), A2.1 (2 months), A2.2 (2 months), B1.1 (2 months), B1.2 (2 months), B2.1 (2 months), B2.2 (2 months), B2.3 (2 months).
If I complete these steps for all the four languages I need, 4*18=72 moths or 5 years. It is not a long time to spend on my future. Once I finish these languages, besides the English, Latin, Turki, Farsi, and Arabic, I will have access to almost all important documents from the west and east cultures to explore the history and evolution of human thought.

Study monitor spring 2017-18

The post has my study time in it. In some weeks, I have given up recording the study time. So, the data for some weeks is missing. I will do a slight change to the time managing book so that I can claim some tasks for every day, and perform them.

This post is a list of the best countries to live in, according to Business Insider. I am pursuing an academic job in one of these countries so that I can settle there as my second home. I will explore the appropriate opportunities in the universities, research centers, and R&Ds. I will list them with their pros and cons. Finally, I will select an optimum set of them and start applying:

1. Norway, 2. Austrailia, 3. Switzerland, 4. Germany, 5. Denmark
6. Singapore, 7. The Netherlands, 8. Ireland, 9. Iceland, 10. Canada

Radioactivity of Drinking Water in Ardabil, Iran

For measuring the radioactivity of materials in comparison to 238 U, there are two common methods: 1) neutron activation spectroscopy and 2) gamma spectroscopy. There is doubt amongst people who live nearby Savalan volcanic mountain about the level of radioactive materials in the city network water. They suspect that the high level of cancer roots in this factor. Of course, it can be true but should be tested. The thing that is needed to be done is a standard measurement of the activity level using one of these instruments. These instruments are most probably available in the laboratories belong to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI). They are even available in the Iran Nanotechnology Laboratory Network (here). The water samples should be taken from different water resources, tested and compared to standard levels.
