This post is a list of the best countries to live in, according to Business Insider. I am pursuing an academic job in one of these countries so that I can settle there as my second home. I will explore the appropriate opportunities in the universities, research centers, and R&Ds. I will list them with their pros and cons. Finally, I will select an optimum set of them and start applying:

Radioactivity of Drinking Water in Ardabil, Iran

For measuring the radioactivity of materials in comparison to ²³⁸ U, there are two common methods: 1) neutron activation spectroscopy and 2) gamma spectroscopy. There is doubt amongst people who live nearby Savalan volcanic mountain about the level of radioactive materials in the city network water. They suspect that the high level of cancer roots in this factor. Of course, it can be true but should be tested. The thing that is needed to be done is a standard measurement of the activity level using one of these instruments. These instruments are most probably available in the laboratories belong to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI). They are even available in the Iran Nanotechnology Laboratory Network (here). The water samples should be taken from different water resources, tested and compared to standard levels.

Surface Science

This semester, I am auditing Surface Science: Chemistry and Physics instructed by Dr. Gözde İnce. At the beginning of the semester, I audited the course to help me launch in the field then I would continue with professional textbooks. Yesterday when I was solving the first homework, I had a look at the textbooks. Amongst the three resources which I found, the below two were the best to continue with.
